So my friend has this problem?

She met this guy while she was at work about 8 months ago. He came in for some istance and she isted him. They got to talking and had a really pleasant conversation. When he left he asked if he could have her number and she reluctantly gave it to him. So they became friends. He told he was in a long distance relationship. It was cool cause they were truly just platonic friends. But then he started develping feelings for her. It wasn't like he wanted or anything. He never pressured her or even hinted at that. She initially found him annoying and was not the least bit attracted to him, but then recently she developed an attraction towards him. She said they have the most stimulating conversations and he is such a gentleman. He calls every morning just to say goodmorning and when they talk at night he seems genuinely interested in how her day was. Now that they started having feelings for each other the topic of his girlfriend comes up. When she asked him about her he said .....
