I kind just asked this but i need to clarify this about dogs living.?

Okay so i want to get a dog but my parents dont want it in the house for many reasons. But i was wondering if it would be okay for me to keep a dog in the barn in the back which is 225sq ft. And since dogs dont like being alone i would get a second dog. Im willing to fix up the barn and make it like a giant dog house such as put carpet, couches, toys, dog beds, and a automatic fireplace(ill concider others if you think its nessesary). But for summer the barn is in the shade and its pretty cool temp in there so i dont think being hot would be a problem. and i just need to know if with those conditions it would be safe and okay to be in there. i also have 6 acres so it would have enough room to play outside and stuff. im willing to spend time with them and take them places. So if theres anything else you would recomend that would be wonderful. im also wanting a lab or hunting dogs if that helps with anything.(:
