Should I go to my doctor if my mild case of hives is getting worse?

I noticed a mild outbreak-- as in sparse yet all over my body-- a few days ago. It has NOT disappeared, but rather more reappear. Not all of them itch-- only a few a rarely. Is it abnormal for them to last this long? When should I see a doctor? I've been taking vistaril or however you spell it at night and one benadryl or claritin a day. Please helpme, I'm scared!
