If we're not supposed to use bumper pads and blankets in cribs why do they sell them?
I really don't know why they sell them either. They have so many recalls on baby items due to saftey hazards but they keep selling bumper pads knowing baby's have been harmed from them. Go figure. When my boys were baby's I just used a swaddle blanket and when they broke free from it I used a Grobag. It's one of those sleeping bags that have no arms and they zipper down. They all loved them and my 8 month old is still in his. I use no bumper pads or blankets and pillow till they got older. I don't put anything in his crib. It's a pretty boring crib to look at but all baby's do is sleep in them so they don't know the difference. I'd rather be safe then it looking all fancy. Personally, I wouldn't use them. You can get some nice looking crib sheets instead.
