I think my mom might have alzheimers what should i do ?

My mom has been going threw sooo much latley shes going threw menopause,recently found out shes diabetic now she seems like shes forgetting alot. shes only in her late 40s. She just dont seem to do anything like she used to she dont want to talk to anyone. She wanted to take the pictures off the wall and she said she dont want to live at her house anymore. She also asked my step dad what kind of car i have and i don have a car never did. She also talks alot about the past now she just seems sooo confused and forgets things. We tryed calling her doctor but he never returns the call. Should I try to get her into a neuroligist? Do you think these problems could just be from menopause and they will go away?
